ALIEN ORIGIN is a story-based SETI simulator game and also a web3 project with the intent to nurture interest in radio astronomy and similar endeavors.

We seek to bring together a community of gamers and radio heads of all types with a love of science and a passion for searching the heavens as well as discussion about all related topics.

When you visit the signal scanner through a web3 compatible browser (Either a wallet browser on your phone or a desktop browser with an EVM wallet plugin such as MetaMask), your wallet address will be used to keep a record of any discoveries that you make.

Discovering natural anomalies and unknown signals will qualify you for (if you wish) the chance to mint one of our custom NFTs on Polygon network and show your support for the project. You may also donate with Ethereum or Matic if you like the game and wish to support the development team.

To figure out the basic controls, try the training button in the menu. When you finish the short training course, return here and click DISCOVER to log into the radio telescope.

When you first arrive at the radio telescope, you will be prompted to connect a web3 wallet if you have on active. This will allow your discoveries to be saved and tied to your wallet address. There are no fees or contract interactions required, this is strictly for anonymous login.

Even if you don't log in, any discoveries you make that have not been found already will be updated to the community map to assist us all in tracking the unknown signal.

The unknown signal will move so it's best to come back every day or two and locate it again, use the community map as a starting point to pinpoint its location.

When all natural anomolies are found and we've collected sufficient data on the unknown signal, the next phase of the game will begin, so check back often.
